CVBD WORLD FORUM
The CVBD World Forum is a working group of leading international experts with the mission to enhance knowledge and communication on companion animal vector-borne diseases for the improvement of animal, human, and environmental health.
Mission StatementUPCOMING MEETING
Between the 4th and 7th of May, 2026, the CVBD World Forum meets for the 20th time to present, discuss and work on the latest topics of companion vector-borne diseases. The meeting will be held in Dublin, Ireland.
The overarching topic of the meeting will be as in the year before: One Health in action: Mapping & modelling companion animal vector-borne diseases. In 2026 the focus will be on mapping and modelling of vectors and their pathogens including newer techniques in contrast to more standard techniques in 2025.
Parallel to the meetings in 2025 and 2026, there is a CVBD collection in Parasites & Vectors, listing the papers that have been submitted in the context of the two CVBD World Forum meetings. This collection can be found here.
