What is the FOOD SAFETY PROGRAM?

A comprehensive approach to reduce the 𝘚𝘢𝘭𝘮𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘢 risk in your operation. FSP is an objective, scientific approach to 𝘚𝘢𝘭𝘮𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘢 prevention in your operation. One that is easy to manage, measure and implement across your facilities.

The Food Safety Program (FSP) is an exclusive opportunity available to selected Elanco customers to optimize Salmonella prevention at the operational level in live poultry production. FSP assesses Salmonella risk across your operation and helps you develop and implement strategies to reduce it.

A success story using the trusted program in a broiler operation

An FSP Success Story

An early FSP user was able to improve their risk score from 45% to 67% by implementing recommendations from FSP. These actions improved the overall biosecurity of the farm as shown by the negative Salmonella status of the boot sock and neck skin samples in the third batch. 1
